The Bagga Tor to Baggator Run/Cyle Challenge 2015
Sat 11th and Sun 12th of July 2015.

In celebration of the 15th year of Baggator Young People’s Project in Easton, Bristol, 15 friends of the charity will be running and cycling over 150 miles from Bagga’ Tor (Dartmoor) to Bristol.

Baggator Young People’s project – background

Baggator founder, Pete Daintree, started the project to offer young people from some of the most disadvantaged areas of Bristol the opportunity to be involved in residential rural camps. The main location for these camping adventures was Baggator Farm, which sits under one of Dartmoors many hills (Bagga Tor!)

Since then, Baggator has found a home at The Pickle Factory in Easton, from where they provide informal education, skills training and leisure activities for young people, as well as continuing the tradition of camping expeditions and foreign exchanges.

The Challenge!

The participants will start at Bagga Tor on Dartmoor  and finish at The Pickle Factory, the home of Baggator Young People’s Project. The route will take them via Exmoor, The Quantock Hills and The Mendips as they cover the equivalent of more than 5 marathons on foot and wheel in 2 days!

We are asking each competitor to set a target of £500 sponsorship to go towards the development of Baggator’s programme of events.
